Desmet Completes First CTi Nano Reactor® System Installation in South Korea
ZAVENTEM, Belgium, March 20, 2014 - The Desmet Group, strategic partner of Cavitation Technologies, Inc. (CTi) since 2010 and licensee of the company's vegetable oil refining technology, has successfully completed the installation of CTi’s Nano Neutralization® Reactor System in a South Korean soybean oil refinery, LOTTE FOODS Co.,Ltd. This fully operational system, CTi’s first completed installation in Asia, is capable of processing over 200 metric tons of soybean oil per day.
“The South Korean refinery marks our 15th installation either completed or under contract,” stated Roman Gordon, CTO of Cavitation Technologies, Inc. “With a pending installation in India, we believe Asia provides enormous potential for CTi’s technology moving forward.”
Mr. Gordon continued, “Project Manager, Param Kandiah, of the Desmet Group provided a Project Commissioning Report of the installation, which inspects and tests every operational component of the project. Mr. Param Kandiah reported that the system is fully functional and displaying typical performance improvements as seen in other facilities, including a reduction in harsh chemical usage and increased efficiency.”
