11/03/2013 Capacity increase and improvement quality oil for Sovena, Portugal
Desmet reports the startup of a new Sieve Tray Oil Stripper for the 2500 TPD SOVENA soybean crushing plant in Almada (Portugal). Sovena, a player in the oil global market and one of the largest oil producer in Spain and Portugal, has selected Desmet’s latest technology in oil stripping to improve the performance and quality of its production.
With this Sieve Tray Oil Stripper developed in 2012, Sovena’s plant benefits from a brand new design that allows savings in steam and reduces the hexane content in extracted oil.
