Desmet Ballestra ethoxylation technology has been applied in several plants installed worldwide some of which are successfully in operation for more than 15 years.

Ethoxylation capacity of the plants supplied by Desmet Ballestra ranges from pilot plant size up to 100,000 Tons per year with up to 12 reactors operating in parallel and making different products.

The ethoxylated products can contain in the molecule a number of moles of ethylene oxide ranging from one to hundreds and they are used for a wide range of application such as:
